On 23 April 2026 (Thursday), Animal Research and Service Centre (ARASC) Health Campus held Laboratory Animal Management and Breeding Techniques Course at ARASC Seminar Hall.

The course comprised both lecture sessions and hands-on practical training. Key topics covered included:

  • Rabbit Management and Breeding Techniques by Dr. Isma Suzyta
  • Rodent Management and Breeding Techniques by Dr. Noziah
  • Practical Session on Animal Handling led by Dr. Noziah

The main objective of this course was to enhance and strengthen ARASC staff knowledge on current management and breeding practices for laboratory animals, particularly rodents and rabbits. By the end of the programme, participants gained practical skills in laboratory animal management to support teaching, learning, and research activities at ARASC, while also increasing awareness of animal welfare.
