8 August 2024 - Fire Drill Training
Fire drills and firefighting demonstrations are important activities in ensuring the safety and preparedness of the Animal Research and Services Centre (ARASC) staff in the face of any possible event of a fire.

The annual exercise aims to train staff and researchers on proper evacuation procedures and ensure all safety systems are functioning properly.

The fire drill, which took place at the ARASC Health Campus, was conducted by the Occupational Safety and Health Unit (UKKP) in collaboration with the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (Kota Bharu). It also involved the USM Safety Department and staff from the School of Health Sciences (PPSK).
